WHAT IS PART P?

Part P is the section of current building regulations which sets out the standards and requirements applicable to all electrical work undertaken in domestic premises. Business premises that incorporate a living area also fall within the scope of part P.

Morgan Electrical is registered with the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme administered by the Joint Industry Board.

WHAT IS  PAT TESTING?

If you are an employer, regardless of the number of people you employ, you are legally required to ensure that all portable electrical appliances on your premises are safe to use. Anything fitted with a standard UK three-pin plug or adaptor for UK socket outlets which is portable or can be moved and relocated must be tested annually or in some cases six-monthly and records kept of the test results. We can help to ensure that your business complies with all current regulations and provides a safe workplace for you and your staff.
